According to the UN approximately one third of the food produced for consumption is wasted every year. That’s a staggering 1.3 billion tonnes. Fruit and vegetables have the highest waste percentages. So how do we tackle this issue? Let’s think of ways that we can help to reduce the waste on a daily or weekly basis with the food in our own homes.
