This easy peasy recipe is perfect as a cheap and cheerful snack. If you are like me than you like spending time outdoors. I often bring nuts and fruit on my hiking expeditions but homemade banana chips are a great alternative. Providing a welcome boost of energy and a treat for your mountain adventures, let’s explain how to bake this great treat today.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 3 RIPE BANANAS
- 1 HEAPED TABLE SPOON OF CINNAMON
- OLIVE OIL OR COCONUT OIL
- 1 TABLESPOON OF HONEY
Preheat the oven.
Peal the bananas and place them in ice cold water to keep the colour. Remove from the water and slice thinly.
In a saucepan melt the oil, add the cinnamon and honey. Don’t forget to stir.
Now add the banana sliced and stir. Melt together the oil, maple syrup and cinnamon.
Cover your baking tray with parchment paper and spread the banana chips around the tray.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
Once removed from the oven leave them cool before tasting your treats.
